Bring Out Those Items You Collect and Showcase Them Properly
There is a good reason why you started to collect those antique beaded purses, Raggedy Ann and Andy Dolls, or that cranberry glass. Though you might cherish each and every piece in your collection, maybe you are worried that by displaying them they could get damaged. Or, possibly, you do not think others will see the articles in the same light that you do, and believe it best to keep them tucked away.
Now, while I do concede there are some things that probably do not lend themselves to being flaunted in the dinning room china display cabinet, and others that clearly are better left in hatboxes. But, overall, if you appreciate these items you gather, then it makes perfect sense to put them in a place where you can enjoy their presence on a daily basis. You should be getting fulfilment out of what you admire, and have invested in, instead of catching rare glimpses of them when you happen to go up into the attic, or open that trunk up. Think it over, but I bet you will realise that these objects, keepsakes, or childhood memorabilia are worth a better positioning in your home.
